For Member Nancy Zappala, it was the natural beauty that drew her to Sailfish Point. On this Audubon-certified course, there are many sights of egrets, herons, and wood storks- just to name a few. She and her husband remarked on the time they had to stop golfing and start taking pictures because there were about 200 ibis and ducks diving into the water.

“All of the plantings around the ponds are done with native plants that will bring even more wildlife,” says Zappala. “Your experience when you’re golfing is really a part of the natural wildlife environment.
