Delectable Dining on the Treasure Coast
It’s not uncommon for people to come to Martin County for the beaches, then fall in love with the area’s culinary scene. Downtown Stuart’s streetscape is dotted with cafés, coffee shops, and upscale dining spots. From The Gafford’s local fares to the nightly sunsets at Sailors Return, the oysters and cocktails at Riverwalk Café and Oyster Bar or Stuart Boathouse, the dining experiences are plentiful.
Just outside of historic Downtown Stuart, you’ll discover delightful restaurants sprinkled across Stuart, Port Salerno, and Hobe Sound. The Chef’s Table is known for inspiring dishes and unique flavors. The District Table is a popular choice for its handcrafted menu and specialty cocktails. Kork in Hobe Sound is a tucked away treat serving incredible global flavors and locally grown ingredients.
On Hutchinson Island, locals are quick to recommend Hutchinson Shores’ Drift Kitchen and Kyle G’s for oceanfront dining. Neighboring Jensen Beach has its own hidden gems including 11 Maple Street, Peter’s Steak House, and The Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House, which was founded by movie star, Frances Langford.
