A Passion for the Arts in Martin County
The Treasure Coast is a thriving community with a heart for the arts. MartinArts is a local organization that strives to advocate for creators and celebrate the individuality of artists. Part of the celebration aspect is to help curate local events such as ArtsFest, MartinArts Awards, and Fine Art Exhibits. Downtown Stuart is a frequent host of these art festivals, including the Annual Downtown Stuart Art Festival.
For those who prefer more action, live entertainment abounds throughout the year, indoors and out. The exquisitely restored Lyric Theatre attracts national acts spanning from multi-Grammy-award winning Blues artist Keb’ Mo’ to comedian Patton Oswalt. The Barn Theater is also a local favorite for a variety of live stage performances. Every Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM in Downtown Stuart, The Riverwalk Stage hosts free concerts for its year-round Rock’n Riverwalk, where locals gather, dance, and picnic along the water.
Exciting Entertainment and Local Events
From local events to stadium seats, the Treasure Coast is packed with entertainment for every age group and interest. Each year downtown hosts the Stuart Boat Show where vendors from one hundred miles around flock to the riverside with their best offerings and latest maritime technology. The Stuart Air Show is another weekend filled with historical exhibits and incredible performances in the sky!
If you are in the mood for live music, stay local at Terra Fermata in Stuart or take a short drive to iThink Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach for outdoor concerts. While in West Palm, check out Drive Shack and test your skills with their virtual golf and games! The best places for shooting sports are Quail Creek Shooting Center and OK Corral, both located in Okeechobee. Hobe Sound and Palm Beach polo clubs are also nearby. If it’s a baseball game you want to catch this weekend, then Rodger Dean Stadium in Jupiter or The Ball Park of the Palm Beaches are where you’ll want to be!
